Government Circulates Education Bill to Replace UGC, AICTE

The Indian government has circulated a bill intended to replace the University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) among 39 Ministries and departments for discussions, with a 31-member JPC set to hold its first meeting.
