Scientists Grow Chickpeas on Lunar Soil for Astronaut Food

Researchers have successfully grown chickpeas in lunar regolith, enhanced with fungi and worm compost, aiming to provide food for astronauts in future permanent moon bases. The chickpeas are awaiting heavy metal tests before tasting.
