Miloš, the first patient with epidermolysis bullosa to receive gene therapy with the drug Vyjuvek at UKC Ljubljana, is showing significantly faster wound healing after three applications with no notable side effects.

Metuljev deček: po treh aplikacijah zdravila opazno hitrejše celjenje ran

Deček Miloš je v začetku julija kot prvi bolnik z bulozno epidermolizo v UKC Ljubljana prejel gensko zdravljenje z zdravilom Vyjuvek. Deček zdravilo dobro prenaša, posebnih neželenih učinkov ob zdravljenju zaenkrat ni imel. Po treh aplikacijah zdravila na kliniki opažajo, da se tam rane hitreje celijo, kot na mestih, kjer zdravila ne prejema.
