Ponad 8,2 mld zł straty odnotowało w ubiegłym roku polskie górnictwo. Wydobycie węgla sięgnęło zaledwie 42,8 mln ton, a sprzedaż węgla przynosi coraz większe straty. Co istotne zatrudnienie w branży spadło pierwszy raz w historii poniżej 70 tys. osób, a w tym roku planowane są rekordowe odejścia.
