Director Jailed, Company Fined Over Fatal Tuas Explosion in Singapore

A company director has been sentenced to jail and his company fined half a million dollars following a 2021 Tuas explosion that killed three people. The director operated a heated mixing machine based on incorrect assumptions rather than manufacturer guidance.
