Lesson "Medical Recovery and Reconstruction Plan" Emphasis [15th Anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake Survey]
In an NHK survey of residents in areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, when asked what lessons from the earthquake they wanted to see emphasized, many voices called for the restoration of medical and nursing care facilities and reconstruction plans that take into account population decline. Experts point out that 'it is too late to consider town reconstruction after a disaster occurs, and it is necessary to think in advance about how to rebuild community life after a disaster, given the ongoing population decline and aging.'
