New York State Passes Buffer Zone Legislation to Protect Synagogues

New York State has passed a bill creating buffer zones to protect synagogues from harassment. The legislation, part of the Transportation, Economic Development, and Environmental Conservation bill, passed with significant majorities in both the senate and assembly.
