New Book Documents Traditional Folk Skirts of Latvia's Valmiera Region
A new book titled 'Valmieras novada brunči' has been released in Latvia, compiling 38 distinct traditional folk costume skirt patterns from the Valmiera region. The project, initiated by five Valmiera weavers three years ago, aims to preserve and showcase the rich textile heritage of the area.
