Naver Q2 net income up 41.6% as AI boosts core biz

Naver Corp., South Korea's largest online portal operator, said Friday its second-quarter net profit rose from a year earlier, as artificial intelligence helped boost its key businesses. The company's net profit for the April-June period was 704.3 billion won ($494.8 million), up a strong 41.6 percent from a year earlier, according to Naver's regulatory filing.
