Scientists from the National Institute of Mental Health are investigating the use of psychedelics in the treatment of depression in patients with multiple sclerosis. They are now looking for volunteers.

Vědci z Národního ústavu duševního zdraví zkoumají využití psychedelik při léčbě deprese u pacientů s roztroušenou sklerózou. Hledají teď proto dobrovolníky. Studie má ověřit, jestli by jim mohla pomoct terapie s látkou psilocybin. Vedoucí Centra výzkumu psychedelik NÚDZ Tomáš Páleníček pro Český rozhlas Plus vysvětluje, že látka psilocybin by mohla snižovat existenciální úzkost spojenou s nemocí. „Potřeba je zhruba 30 dobrovolníků,“ popisuje.
