Hungarian Banks Report Significant Profits in 2025

Lőrinc Mészáros's MBH bank reported a profit of 240 billion forints in 2025, while CIB bank also achieved 76 billion forints in profit, despite paying substantial bank and special taxes.

Mészáros Lőrinc bankja 240 milliárd forint profitot termelt tavaly

43 milliárd forint bankadó és különadó megfizetése mellett is 237 milliárd forint profitot ért el 2025-ben az MBH. A CIB bank 14 milliárd forint bank- és különadót fizetett be, ezzel együtt 76 milliárd forint nyereséget ért el. Mindkét pénzintézetnél kiemelkedően nőtt a személyi hitelek állománya.
