"Mental and physical health and livelihood affected by the earthquake" about 30% [Earthquake 15th Anniversary Survey]
It will soon be 15 years since the Great East Japan Earthquake and the accident at Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. In an NHK survey of people living in the affected areas, about 30% answered that their mental and physical health and livelihood have been affected by the earthquake. Of these, about 30% answered that they have no one to rely on when they feel anxious. Experts point out that "efforts are needed to prevent people with lingering effects from becoming isolated."
