Lai veicinātu zinātnes un uzņēmumu sadarbību, pētnieki un dažādu nozaru pārstāvji trešdien, 25. februārī, pulcējās pirmajā Bateriju industrijas dienā. Mūsdienās baterijām ir būtiska loma ne vien enerģijas uzkrāšanā un mobilitātē, bet arī aizsardzības jomā. Pasākuma diskusijā secināts, ka Latvijas industrijai bateriju ražošanā konkurēt ar Ķīnu nebūtu iespējams, bet potenciāls ir inovāciju attīstībā.
