Congo Ebola Outbreak Intensifies Amid WHO Warnings, Affects World Cup

The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda is intensifying, with the WHO warning of its continued growth and highlighting response gaps amid hundreds of suspected cases and over a hundred deaths. The health crisis has also led to the cancellation of some World Cup-related events in the DRC and raised concerns about its impact on children.
