Take a trip with the forest railway on a zigzag tour up into the cloud mountains

Some of the world's tallest trees grow in the Alishan mountain forests in Taiwan, and during the colonial era, the Japanese built a railway line up there. The railway still runs – but getting a ticket can be a hair-raising experience.
