Lídia Jorge Awarded Camões Prize 2026
Portuguese writer Lídia Jorge, one of the most prestigious authors in the Portuguese language, has been awarded the Camões Prize for 2026, succeeding Ana Paula Tavares. The 80-year-old author was recognized for her body of work by the jury of the most important prize for Portuguese literature.
