Flagstar breach victims can claim up to $25,000 by August 11

Flagstar Bank has agreed to pay $31.5 million to settle a class action lawsuit over two cyberattacks in 2021 that exposed the personal information of more than 2.1 million customers. Eligible customers could receive payments ranging from about $60 to as much as $25,000, depending on their claims, if they submit the required forms by August 11, 2026.
