Malaysian Government to Support Media Monetization and Content Creation

Malaysian Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil announced that the government will engage TikTok to discuss monetization rules for media organizations' livestreams and opened applications for a RM5 million Madani content fund, with an additional RM100,000 for youth programs.
