Leiria Aims to Be Pilot Region for State Modernization
The ten municipalities in the Leiria region have unanimously approved their support for Leiria's bid to become the Portuguese Capital of Culture 2028 and a rural fire plan that had been suspended for two years, as the region seeks to be a pilot for state modernization.
