Yatsushiro City Council Members Suspected of Demanding Bribes in New City Hall Project
Three city council members in Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture, have been arrested on suspicion of receiving 60 million yen in bribes from a construction company in exchange for favorable treatment in a new city hall project, with investigators now suspecting they actively demanded the bribes.
