EU Commission Reviews Montenegro's Asset Forfeiture Law
The European Commission is reviewing Montenegro's proposed law on the permanent confiscation of assets acquired through crime, even before a final court ruling. Civil society warns that the draft law falls short of the Italian model, which they believe would be optimal for Montenegro.
