B'luru professor gets one-line termination notice after 19 years of service; fights back

An assistant professor was reinstated after nearly two decades of service at Jain College. Her termination notice was issued without proper authority and due process. The college claimed declining enrollment and syllabus changes due to NEP 2020. However, evidence showed her teaching load had significantly increased. The tribunal ruled the termination was not based on genuine administrative necessity.
