New E-Scooter Regulations in Austria Mandate Turn Signals and Helmets for Minors
Starting May 1st, new regulations for e-scooters in Austria will require vehicles to be equipped with turn signals and mandate helmet use for riders under 16 years old, though many existing scooters may not be retrofittable.

Zu den Neuerungen zählen eine Helmpflicht für Fahrer unter 16 Jahren und verpflichtende Blinker an den Lenkgriffen der Fahrzeuge. Viele E-Scooter sind jedoch nicht mit einem Blinker nachrüstbar.
