Democracy Hub considers lawsuit over alleged non-competitive public sector recruitment

Oliver Barker-Vormawor, a lawyer and leading member of Democracy Hub, is considering legal action against the government over what he describes as a deeply entrenched culture of non-competitive recruitment across Ghana's public institutions. Oliver Barker-Vormawor announced on Tuesday that the civil society group is considering filing a lawsuit to compel government agencies to follow transparent and competitive hiring procedures in filling public sector roles.
