Slovak Coalition Reinstates Value for Money Unit for Highway and Railway Evaluations
The Slovak parliament has approved a proposal to reinstate the Value for Money Unit (ÚHP) to evaluate major state investments, including highways and railways, without exceptions. This decision comes two years after the coalition largely excluded analysts from project evaluations, driven by concerns over funds from the recovery plan.
