India Plans High-Speed Rail Linking Siliguri to Varanasi

West Bengal is set to benefit from India's first high-speed rail service in the eastern region, connecting Siliguri to Varanasi. This project is expected to significantly improve inter-regional mobility, reducing travel time between the two cities to just three hours.
