Poland to Launch Largest Ship in Its History, ORP Wicher

Poland is set to launch its largest ship in history, the ORP Wicher, the first frigate of the Miecznik program, from the PGZ Naval Shipyard in Gdynia this August.

Latem Polska doczeka się największego okrętu w historii

Już w sierpniu z pochylni PGZ Stoczni Wojennej w Gdyni na wodę ma zsunąć się ORP Wicher, pierwsza fregata programu Miecznik. Razem z ORP Burza i ORP Huragan ma być największym okrętem w historii polskiej floty. Nazwy fregat nie są przypadkowe i sięgają korzeniami II Rzeczpospolitej.
