Ministry reports 18,000 attacks on health workers in 2025

(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 12 - The health ministry said Thursday that there were 18,000 attacks on healthcare workers and healthcare social workers in Italy in 2025. It said the number of victims of the attacks amounted to 23,367, as in many cases more than one worker was involved in the assault. It said the number of attacks was down slightly from 18,392 in 2024, but the number of victims rose from around 22,000 the previous year. (ANSA). Read article...
