Serbian Prosecutor Defends Police Raid on NPS Party, While Lawyer Šabić Raises Abuse of Authority Concerns
The First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade has stated that the police raid on the premises of the opposition People's Movement of Serbia (NPS) party was conducted lawfully under a court order. However, lawyer and former Commissioner for Information of Public Importance Rodoljub Šabić has assessed that the circumstances of the police action, which included searching premises and seizing phones and computers, could constitute an abuse of authority.
