Africa’s economy was advanced before colonial contact — UG historian argues

A researcher and historian at the University of Ghana, Kweku Darko Ankrah, has argued that Africa’s economy was more advanced prior to European contact, particularly before the onset of the transatlantic slave trade and subsequent colonial exploitation.
