Japan Poll Shows Support for Early Food Tax Cut, Even if Not Zero

An NHK public opinion poll in Japan found that 48% of respondents would prefer an early reduction in consumption tax on food items, even if it's not a complete zero-rate, while 18% favored waiting for a zero-rate, and 25% saw no need for a reduction.
