Over 800 Migrant Deaths Recorded in Mediterranean Since Start of Year

More than 800 people have died in the Mediterranean Sea since the beginning of the year, despite a decrease in overall arrival numbers. NGOs warn that routes to Europe remain deadly and safe pathways are lacking.
