Smederevo faces ambulance shortage with only two functional vehicles

The city of Smederevo, with nearly 100,000 inhabitants, reportedly has only two functional ambulance vehicles for patient transport to tertiary care facilities. This forces patients, even those with serious conditions like a broken hip or heart attack, to arrange their own transport.
