Massive Evacuation in Dresden to Deactivate WWII Bomb
Approximately 18,000 residents were forced to evacuate their homes in central Dresden after a World War II bomb was discovered on the banks of the Elbe River. This marks the largest such evacuation ever carried out in the eastern German city.
