Illegal Settlements Triple in Portugal, Highlighting Housing Crisis
The number of illegal shantytowns in Penajóia and Raposo, Portugal, has tripled in three years, now housing over 2500 people in more than 1000 illegal constructions. This situation was discussed in Parliament, described as the 'maximum expression of housing scarcity'.
