UN Reports Over 180 Migrant Deaths and Disappearances in Mediterranean Since March 28
The United Nations has reported that more than 180 people are suspected to have died or gone missing in Mediterranean shipwrecks over the past 10 days, bringing the total number of deaths to nearly 1,000 since the beginning of 2026 (likely 2024).
