Ghana Triples Allowances for Chiefs, Disburses Funds to Assembly Members

Ghana's Local Government Minister announced that the government has tripled the monthly allowances for paramount chiefs and queen mothers. Additionally, over GH¢11 million in monthly allowances has been disbursed to assembly members across the country.
