CERN Shuts Down Large Hadron Collider for Upgrade
The Large Hadron Collider, the world's largest particle accelerator, was shut down on June 29 for an upgrade. It is scheduled to resume operation in 2030 as the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider.
