Íránská schopnost obohacovat uran byla zničena červnovými údery a Teherán se ji posléze nesnažil obnovit. V textu svého středečního vystoupení v americkém Senátu to uvedla šéfka tajných služeb USA Tulsi Gabbardová. Nebezpečím, že Írán získá jadernou zbraň, zdůvodnily Izrael i Spojené státy letošní údery na tuto zemi.
