Scientists confirm HIV capsid is a good drug target despite resistance
A new study has found that to escape a drug called lenacapavir, HIV has to damage one of its own components, the capsid. The finding reaffirmed the belief that the viral capsid is a good drug target and that the virus can’t afford to change it too much, opening the door to a new generation of drugs
