Riječ je o 2.0 TDI motoru sa 193 KS, u prethodnoj generaciji poznatom pod oznakom 40 TDI, sada od starta dostupnom i za Audi Q3 i za Q3 Sportback. Novi-stari dizelaš bit će prisutan u kombinaciji samo s pogonom na sva četiri točka.
