Finnish Brown Algae Refinery Secures €30M EU Loan
Origin by Ocean, a company building the world's only brown algae refinery in Kokkola, Finland, has received a €30 million loan from the EU. Construction is set to begin in the autumn, with algae sourced from the Caribbean and the US as the main market.
