First Atomic Bomb Test Left Behind Unknown Substance
An unusual crystal structure has been discovered in a fragment of Trinitite, a glassy substance formed during the Trinity detonation. This substance is the result of sand, cables, and steel parts melting into green and red glass during the historic first atomic bomb test.
