Copenhagen plans to mark International Women's Day with a new artwork on Nørrebro, but a majority in the City Hall has mandated that the sculpture must be created by a female artist.

Kvindernes Internationale Kampdag blev besluttet i København, og denne milepæl i kampen for ligestilling skal markeres med et nyt kunstværk. Men et flertal på Rådhuset kræver, at kunstværket skal udføres af en kvinde, så nu er kommunen nødt til at søge dispensation fra ligebehandlingsloven.
