Italian Constitutional Court Urges Government to Reform Public Employee Severance Pay System

The Italian Constitutional Court has called on the government to progressively reform the current system of staggered severance pay (TFR) for public employees, warning of a declaration of illegitimacy by January 14, 2027, if changes are not made.

La Corte costituzionale chiede al Governo di superare progressivamente il sistema attuale che impone attese pluriennali per la liquidazione. Altrimenti il 14 gennaio 2027 arriverà la dichiarazione di illegittimità
