"Berlin Autofrei" Initiative Fails to Gather Enough Signatures

The "Berlin autofrei" (Car-free Berlin) initiative has failed in its public petition, falling short by approximately 35,000 signatures required for a referendum. The "Berlin werbefrei" (Ad-free Berlin) petition is also expected to fail.
