Mitsubishi Electric, Rohm, and Toshiba Advance Power Chip Merger Talks

Semiconductor giants Rohm, Toshiba, and Mitsubishi Electric are actively exploring a merger of their power semiconductor businesses, used in EVs and data centers. Mitsubishi Electric has joined existing negotiations between Rohm and Toshiba, with an announcement expected soon, as Rohm also considers an acquisition offer from Denso.
