Montenegrin Power Company Faces Challenges from EU CBAM and Rising Electricity Costs

Montenegro's power company is experiencing reduced revenues due to the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and has been forced to import electricity at significantly higher prices. There is no final decision yet on the shutdown deadline for the thermal power plant.
