Ukrainian Man Detained for Sending Poisoned 'Gift' to Marine

A 19-year-old resident of Poltava Oblast has been detained on suspicion of being recruited by Russian intelligence services to murder a Ukrainian serviceman. He allegedly sent a poisoned 'gift' to the marine after posing as a woman online.

Law enforcement officers have served a 19-year-old resident of Poltava Oblast a notice of suspicion. According to investigators, he was recruited by Russian intelligence services to murder a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
