Police find missing wartime bomb in Riihimäki

The Häme Police Department located a wartime Russian bomb near an ice rink in the town of Riihimäki on Thursday after the explosive disappeared for almost a day, prompting a public warning and a criminal investigation. The device was found close to its original location near a sports park and ice rink after police questioned a man suspected of moving the explosive from the scene. Häme Police said the case is being investigated as an explosives offence.
